John C. Larsen grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and is a 1980 graduate of Huntsville High School. After high school, John attended the University of Alabama where he studied political science. Mr. Larsen received his B.A. degree in political science in 1984, graduating magna cum laude and earning distinction as a Phi Beta Kappa honors scholar. Thereafter, John studied law at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1988. After graduating from law school and passing the Alabama Bar, John served as an attorney in the United States Army’s Judge Advocate General’s (“JAG”) Corp. where he earned the rank of Captain. While in the Army, John served as trial counsel and prosecuted criminal cases for the U.S. Army.
In 1994, Mr. Larsen went into private law practice in Huntsville, Alabama where he has focused his career on helping individuals with their varied financial problems. Having assisted individuals with their financial problems for over twenty years, John has extensive experience in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, Social Security Disability claims, and in helping individuals with security clearance issues. Mr. Larsen lives on his farm outside of Huntsville, AL and has three beautiful teenage daughters. In his spare time, John enjoys fishing, hunting and working outdoors.
